


ABOUT JEFF HEINKEL (NASM Certified traiNer)

I am a NASM certified trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. I focus on Strength, Balance, Core and Agility. Fitness is progress, not perfection. I help my clients work toward their goals while leading happy, healthy lives.
HIIT Workouts and Circuit training is a fun way to build muscle and burn fat. In class we work as a team, but everyone goes at their own pace.
A HIIT workout consists of short bursts of intense work, at your own pace, lasting anywhere from 20 to 60 seconds, followed by a period of recovery. This is repeated 3 to 8 times. HIIT can can be Circuit Training, Team Cardio, Tabata, or Partner Workouts.
For over 10 years I've trained people to run marathons all over the world in various levels of fitness and age groups. It has been an incredible experience that helped me develop a passion for fitness and helping people.
CURRENT CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

CIRCUIT CLASS - 9 stations for 45 seconds each, with a 15 second break between station. We do three rounds, with a minute break after each round. Stations focus on strength, balance, and agility - you work out at your own intensity level.
TABATA - a high paced HIIT class. You do 8 exercises for 20 seconds each with a 10 second break in-between. It take 4 minutes to complete a pod with a minute break between each pod. We do the pods 6 to 8 times. Studies have shown doing one pod burns the same calories as jogging for an hour.
PARTNER CLASSES - you team up and switch off on exercises. One doing strength, while other does an endurance or core. It's great team building. It promotes health and fellowship.
